Fan-made video for the new track “Brooklyn (Go Hard)” from the upcoming Biggie bio pic. Hot track, cool video.

I’m planning on doing a much bigger write-up on The Cool Kids when I get a chance sometime soon, but for now, here are a couple great FREE tracks from the duo.

The first is 2K Pennies, a song originally titled Pennies that has been altered to include a couple references to 2K Sports for inclusion on the NBA 2K9 soundtrack. Grab 2K Pennies here.

The second is Delivery Man, released for free on Mountain Dew’s newly-established Green Label Sound. Grab Delivery Man (and its remix) here.

This remix of “Heartless” from West’s new album 808s & Heartbreak attempts to reconstruct the slightly altered version of the song Kanye performed at the American Music Awards on Sunday. It was created by a talented member of the kanyelive.com forums who goes by the handle ‘Iceman’.

Now, Message of the Blues has released an album, Da Illist [sic], through iTunes. Interestingly, according to iTunes, MotB is signed to the label started by No Doubt, Beacon Street Records (which, of course, has no website).

Here’s the aforementioned “L.A.” Keep in mind the rest of their music is much bluesier than this song, but be sure to check them out on iTunes.

Boy Crisis – Dressed to Digress

Man Party is a four-piece electronica outfit from Seattle, and despite being a relatively young band, they’ve already established a nicely polished sound. The group recently dropped their first release, The Tiger Game EP, which is available on iTunes and several other online music stores. It’s a nice little debut, consisting of five laid back (but danceable) electronic-esque tracks. The lyrics are a tad cringe-inducing, though most likely intentionally so. I have to admit “robots fucking humans fucking robots fucking humans” confuses me with its simultaneous brilliance and stupidity.

The track below is “Robot Overlords”, my favorite from the EP. I wish all of their songs had the hard-hitting dance sensibility as the last minute or so of this track. Here’s hoping the guys of Man Party will take their chilled-out sound to more uptempo territory for their full-length debut next year.
